(一)国 徽
中华人民共和国国徽,是我们伟大祖国的象征。在雄伟的人民大会堂,在祖国的海关,在人民的法庭上,每当我们看到庄严美丽的国徽,心里便会荡起一种崇高的爱国之情。
国徽呈圆形,圆形的中间上方是璀璨夺目的五颗金星,下方是雄伟端庄的天安门城楼,天安门城楼的正上方部是一个金色的齿轮,齿轮两边的稻穗对称地向上环抱,至居中的顶部相合,齿轮的中心又系着两幅红绸,呈弧形伸向两边,而后向下垂挂,使圆形的国徽有了坚定、稳定之感。国徽的基本色彩是红、黄两色,热烈、美丽、崇高、庄严。
天安门图案是我们中华民族的象征。具有民族特色的雄伟端庄的天安门城楼的正面图景,横贯国徽的中下方,象征着中华民族的优秀文化和威武不屈的英姿。
齿轮、稻穗象征着工人阶级的农民阶级。金色的齿轮,仿佛带动整个国家飞转向前,硕大的稻麦穗,也同样象征着人民的幸福,祖国的繁荣。
国徽的五颗星,代表中国共产党领导下的中国人民大团结,正上方的一颗大星,代表着中国共产党。党是灯塔,是太阳,没有共产党就没有新中国。四颗小星在一部呈半圆形环抱,象征亿万人民,心心向着共产党,坚强团结,众志成城。

(二)在生命的最后时刻
